The Caribbean Association of North Carolina was founded in 2018 after our president graduated from college and recognized the need for stronger community connections.
She wanted to bridge the gap between younger Caribbean-Americans seeking belonging and older generations eager to see their culture live on.
What began as small gatherings has grown into a vibrant network united by heritage, pride, and love for our islands.
Today, we continue that mission by building community across generations and keeping our culture alive and thriving.
At the Caribbean Association of North Carolina, we’re building bridges of culture, care, and connection. Our mission is simple — to bring people together to celebrate our Caribbean heritage, uplift each other, and stand united in times of need.
We’re organizers, parents, students, business owners, and proud community members who believe our culture is a source of strength and that real change happens when we show up together.
